Keen Eye Media founder and creative: Dan Jewell

Founder of the Keen Eye Media creative collective, Dan started out as a Video Editor for Liverpool Football Club TV Channel, after progressing to Senior Editor and working around the UK as a freelancer in corporate content he left the football club and now works a freelancer for Manchester post production house Dock 10 on shows such as BBC’s Match Of The Day and Final Score . Dan continues to work as a freelance editor in feature film, broadcast, music videos and corporate content.

Dan also works regularly as a self-shooting producer and director of corporate video, delivering promos, ads, events, training, animations and product demos.

Dan handpicks all of the freelance creatives at Keen Eye Media, drawing from the most talented and creative members of his network to deliver high end results on time and to budget whatever the media solution required.

Dan has experience crafting content for the likes of: The Royal Society, The Imperial War Museum North, Manchester Central Library, Nivea for Men and EDF Energy to name a few. His documentary shorts have been distributed internationally and his work screened at film festivals across Europe. With a background in graphic design and photography, an avid photo time-lapse & HDR freak, Dan loves extreme sports, traveling, TV, film, motion graphics, colour grading and music. Dan has bases in Bristol, Manchester, London, Newport and Edinburgh. He has a passion for craft beer and red wine and when isn't editing and shooting spends most of his time climbing, snowboarding, relaxing outdoors or planning his next shoot.

Dan has a wealth of industry training and gives edit training in his spare time.
